this is the updated version of my tiny demo.
it's now with cpn file,etc.
and is thus at the campaigns-dropdown menu.
everything is on the readme,if it isn't,comment/ask here.bugs?
post a list or something here too.
updated version includes:cliff textures on nature wall,for more unfair battles(the beginning):(objectives banner for clearer objectives.flashing units to make things clearer.and just as I mensioned before,
at the dropdown menu.
hope you will enjoy it this time.
please give me hints,rate it comment whatever.

story:
Arjanos,a poor villager living somewhere in the middle of nowhere with the risk of bandits everytime.
after a raid he decided to smith weapons and build up defenses(see it as a sort of Arjanos tutorial).
when the bandits raided again they were destroyed and the survivors of these bandits were hunted down for punishment.
he goes to a city(don't know a name on the moment)to say that to the lord of that area.he gets a mission and will succeed(this is all before this campaign,will be another scen./campaign)greately.so he's getting famous on the court.stays there at service of the lord.jealous members of the council try to assassinate him ,but he manages to escape the city.
this is the beginning of my campaign on the moment:
after going back to his village,train some troops(more guards)he builds up a settlement,far from greece.
he dooesn't know that he's in the area where the babylonian army advances to destroy the egyptian empire,and to terminate the religion of these barbarians(how the babyl's call them)he gets attacked(which is the starting scenario and also my demo)but the guards succesfull defense the settlement.gets teleported to the hightpriests of Ra's council at an important meeting.
then he gets the objective to get relics and succeed in destroying the babylonian advance.
the rest is still open because I haven't got time to think about it.
after some tasks and skirmishes he gets back to greece and try's to get an army.he gets it after some adventures and comes back to rid everyone from the thread of babylonian attacks.after succeeding he meets an huskarl general who will be his greatest enemy.general karkov.

Is this a demo for a campaign? or is it a scenario demo?...
If its a scenario demo it should go under single player scenarios. |

This scenario isnt very good, no cinematic is in it, needs alot of work, the you win trigger won't work because the unit selected trigger doesnt have a unit that is to be selected. Also please put it in the scenario section next time it's only just on scenario.
Im sure you can do much better then this scenario, next try to learn cinematics, that will make it so you won't get a bad start here, many people decide how they will treat you after their first project, so hurry and change this, and make cinematics.[Edited on 04/18/05 @ 02:35 AM]

forgot to tell:it's for aom AND the titans
(I have the gold edition but am playing vanilla because I don't like the titans as units,too mighty)
jeah sorry,but it's my first scen.
and I couldn't think of a cinematic in it(
I didn't now how,just as you probably thought)
and it is actually a demo(I wouldn't be so nuts to make a scen you don't have to do anything besides 4 times clicking)of my campaign "Arjanos".
this is the beginning,so don't worry.
you have to click the obelisk when you are there(look in my read-me)except if there wasn't any form of triggering.
please tell me if this wasn't there:
first:you have to get iron-shields researched,classical age,stonewall and champion axeman.
second:after 3 or 4 seconds there have to be the attck of the babylonians.
third:after killing all the spearmen on the road in front of your gate all of your surviving axemen(beside one or two)will be teleported,ajax created and Setna will speak.
after clicking on Setna he has to walk to the Pharaos and the priests.when following him you have to see the obelisk in the middle of the "room".click it and wait and there has to be YOU ARE VICTORIOUS.
was this all there or wasn't it?please tell me.

There is one problem, please put the goals into the scenario, just about any noob I have seen has been able to atleast do that. I think the scenario can be improved alot, and also at the camp, don't put grass wall, put cliff walls, and mix the terrains so there isnt only on terrain in an almost every place I look. Also make the gameplay be a bit longer, this would be kind of hard to review if anyone wanted to review it. |

I can`t do a cinematic because i dont know how make the talking in it, and thats why i`m not releasing my demo. |

Talking like text, text in cinematics are displayed with play dialog trigger, if you want to play a sound, you can use that same trigger with the text to play the sound and the text at the same time, or just use sound filename. |

thank you.(about the cine-thing)
you now,it was more a bit of expirimentating
what is possible in the editor.
but I will update and put a new scen with it for a better demo.about the grass walls:
I'd wanted that because I liked that very much,I had found out that on exactly the same moment as I needed to make a Nature wall.
I was probably a bit to fast with making this,
but when it's updated everything will be better. |

Thanks to CaveTown I`m able to release my
First Scenario. Its called Roman lost in the woods, its not very good, but i did two weeks work on it and feel free to coment, i`m going to release a very big campaign. I have Already three scenarios of that campaign so check the one i`v released.
