Cinematic overlapping (in some cases) was curbed as well.
README:
Heroes Chronicles is a massive scenario based on the Age of Mythology Heaven Community. Don't worry, you
can still enjoy it even if you're not familiar with it.
Please read through this readme, Installation is
extremely important.
I N S T A L L A T I O N:
STEP 1:
- Place the SCENARIO called Lp.scx inside the SCENARIOS folder.
STEP 2:
- Place every single file inside the 'Sounds' folder inside the SOUNDS folder inside your Age of Mythology
directory. Please do not place the folder itself, go inside and extract the sound files directly into the
AoM sounds folder (I.E., don't put a sounds folder within the sounds folder).
STEP 3:
- Place the 'HC Logo.ddt' inside the TEXTURES folder in your Age of Mythology Directory.

M I N I M U M-S Y S T E M-R E Q U I R M E N T S
The scenario features a load of Eye Candy, so I would reccomend a system with the following specs-
1.0 Ghz Proccessor
256 MB Ram
32 MB video card
If it lags, lowering the resolution might help. Please be aware that the first 10 minutes will lag as
triggers are unleashed, after that, you should experience none at all. Enjoy!
F E A T U R E S:
- Massive map based on the AoMH Community, with memorable locations including the mystical Tree City and
the battle ravaged Ambition Designs.
- Fast-paced combat- switch between ranged or melee weapons, and fight in huge battles along with your
party of fellow forumers.
- Based on the forumers of AoMH- see them walking, recruit them to your team, or kill them! The choice is
yours.
- Alternate endings to many missions.
- 'Exclusive' voice work done by Elpea himself for his unit (appears after Elpea is changed back to normal).
- Unique missions varying from easy to hard.
- Great soundtrack featuring Black knight and the Llama song!

KNOWN BUGS:
The following bugs will be fixed in a v1.2 along with Elpea's new additions to the story:
- The 'boat trip' bug.
- Potential overlapping cinematics.

WOW! this is a hot topic... the game made me want to have been a part of the AOM Heaven community... or maybe I just want to be in a scenario. Whatever, the point is, do not watch Monty Python movies while writting reviews. Where was I, oh yes, I enjoyed Heroes Chronicles very much. Though I found that sometimes there was too much stuff on the roads wich impeded progress, especially those deer when I killed Auroch, no wait, Aumon. In your installation instructions it mentions a soundS file, but there isnt (I mean isn't, don't want to be attacked by the grammer police!) one, only a sound file. I also wish I could have gotten more of the characters to join my party. All in all, I give it 4.5!
EDIT: In the editor (not sure about in gmae) I hear Biatch and Shiva sucks whne I select Kastor Adult... wich was annoying as I wasn't playing or looking at in the editor Heroes Chronicles.[Edited on 06/05/05 @ 08:27 PM]

Nope, didn't happen for me. I say the DL is corrupted, happens often enough to me. The scn works then, but it's flawed. For example in the first one I DL there were krakens in the editor, but ingame there were none, and the boat race was strangely easy. |

^ Exactly what I told him. The problem is that it is a big file with alot of things on it so it can get corrupted.

The problem is, the scn does work, but you might notice the corruption only when you've almost finished it... And if you're not sure by what it was caused you might think it was a bug.

^ I would rather not say it because people would take advantage of it. It's not noticeable unless you come accross it by mistake and it is a map design error. |

Yeah I read them. I am positive once Elpea makes his changes its going to be buggy, he doesn't know what he's doing:P. But it's a good oppurtunity to fix some of the bugs and offer some new content for replayability. |

BTW:
"The names of Oscar and Arkantos are swapped; it say "You found ... in Oscar's body" when Arkantos is killed."
You told me the trigger would fire when both are dead, but why don't you only use Oscar's death as a condition? |
