agj1116: Allright, make sure you have AomEd (download it in the modding resources page at aom.heavengames.com on the right column). Go into C:\program files\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology\data. Open up AomEd and go set input data file. Then go into the above and double click on data2, and click read data file. Then, click direct file conversion and find protox.xmb and double click. Choose the output folder. Then open up protox.xml (with notepad) and go to the very bottom. You will see symbols around the words unit and proto. Create an empty line between the words and symbols (ex:
) and paste the data for the monk there. Then, find all the other units and buildings in the protox (Ctrl+f) and paste the data overtop. The folders anim, textures etc. are at (for me at least) C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology.
Understand? I don't want to write it again, eh!

tasev: I tried a technique I found here. http://aom.heavengames.com/scendesign/modding/removethings . I now have a model editor but it may take a while for me to figure out, so I just used this technique. It apparently just blacks out the shield and erases the sword until it needs to be there (ex. attacking).

Uhhh... Does it overwrite any of the Original units? Because I really need to know before I install.
