The Game

You are part of a group of four mages - who can summon creatures, as well as change into different forms. Your branch of magic contains these two parts only : 1. Summoning and 2. Morphing. You yourself, as a mage, are not very powerful in melee combat, so you must rely greatly on your summoned creatures. For years you have lived in a forest, mastering your summoning abilities in a group, as part of the class taught by the High Summoner Yggdrasil. However, even as your first field test starts, your group of student mages fall into a much greater position - probably one too great for them to handle.

-------------------------------------------

The Gameplay

The game is divided up into seven levels - each containing their own part of the map and storyline. When the game starts, you have the option to continue from any level - so that you can continue from where you left off, even without saving!

As in most RPGs, you start with one unit. By moving units to statues to get resources, and other units to other statues to select units, this one unit can summon an army, and morph into different, more powerful forms. You will need to use all of these abilities to complete your various missions.

The storyline is intricate and "complete" (or, at least as intricate as a multiplayer AOM scenario can be). Several short cinematics within the game will present new characters, situations, and settings to keep you interested and playing.

The map design is full of units, buildings and "eyecandy". There is NO walking in a straight line and killing random units in this scenario - you can explore the map as well as you want, or as badly as you want, and kill perfectly organised and non-clumped groups of enemies.

-------------------------------------------

game_master64 Sounds interesting. The morphing and summoning are good ideas.
StevenTitanslayr Ditto
But you learn your summoning and morphing from a tree? lol
TheMightyLemon So it's finally out. I'm ready to try it.
