Random Map Chat window Godpower

Holy Cow! Age of Mythology, Heaven is still here!

I thought I was the only one still playing this game. It is one of my favorite games and I play it whenever I am looking to use up a couple of hours of time. I usually like to try to add things to the game to make it more interesting so that it keeps my interest going to keep playing the game.

Something I have been working (using GodPowers through the send window in random AOMx single player maps) on for quite a while and have looked on the Internet for, but it seem no one has come up with this. If someone has used this, they haven’t bothered to put it on the Internet so I feel that since AOM Heaven is still here, there may be someone out there who would like to play with this type of feature in their maps.

I have documented the code in the (Rick's Med_T.xs )map so you may want to check it out and feel free to change anything you would like. I also have included some documentation that helped me figure out how to implement this type of game play that I have put into my map. Also, since this new style of play has to do with God powers, I have added some of the God powers that I have modified to give better game play. For instance: in a chicken storm, why kill the chickens? If you use the God power on your side, you can keep all the chickens for food.

Basically, this is just my playing around with the triggers used in Age of MythologyX. I am not a scenario map designer, but I had to figure out how triggers were used in scenarios to add them to random single player maps. I always liked the fact that you could type into the send or chat window to have the cheat work. So, adapting this style of play to my random single player maps has been something that I have been working on for a while.
Using the chat window in my map, you are not required to us caps a nice touch.

Have fun!
