Players start on opposite sides of a lake with no land connecting them. Land resource distribution is similar to the River Nile RMS, but there is more water and more fishing. (And the map is larger overall.)
Unlike the River Styx map, the AI is fully capable of building a navy and transporting armies across to your side of the lake.
The AI does send units across the sea but not very often; and so far, in easy to handle amounts; at least on hard, haven't tried titan. It is interesting that the random map icon, the map info details and the display name ID were already part of the original data.

(Very nicely put together and detailed.)

Very good map. As river nile, it's very water dependant military, and even more dependand econ wise because of all the fishing avaliable.
ES needs to make more AoM maps.
