Troy: The real story

Author File Description
hollanj
File Details
Style: Mix
# of Scenarios: 7 scenarios
Version: AoM: The Titans
Not happy with the way that the AOM campaign "Troy" portrayed the story? I mean what about Achilles and the Trojan heroes. Play this campaign as the Trojans.
Fantastic Campaign!
Includes heaps of awesome triggerwork and eye candy. First class cinematics
Songs: System of A down- Hypnotize

Note: This is the real version of Troy. If somehow there are other files they will be corrupt because the zip file was too large

Playability: 4
(Playing the campaign it was extremely enjoyable. I thought the cinematics were very good and there was always much to do on each scenario. Overall the playability was very good.

Balance: 5
(Though often too hard on moderate I could just change to "easy mode" and coped with it very well. I think it was important that it ws at least a challenge. For the level where you had to find the heroes in five minutes I saved it which meant I had more time to look. Because the campaign had triggers changing the level of difficulty to suit the player it had to be a five.)

Creativity: 4
(Whilst the story itself was not too creative I liked how it differed from the AOM campaign. There were some things that were also different. The main story of Troy was still there but the designer changed the scenarios to use the full potential of some of the triggers. The fact that it was based on the movie Troy stopped this area from being a 5. Although I think that it is always a good idea to base your campaigns upon something)

Map Design: 5
(The map ws brilliant. It must have been so difficult putting down all of the sprites, the grass and on the first level those glowy things in the forest. The map always had something good to see and I liked how you designed Troy.)

Story/Instructions: 4
(The story was very good and made sense but I dont quite know why you made briseis a prisoner. But this is a creative aspect of your campaign so I will not mark it down. The instructions were always very clear and you knew what to do. Although sometimes hard the hints and the word document were helpful. Rather than changing the difficulty to easy I persisted at the moderate level. I had a great time working through each level.)

Additional Comments: I thought this campaign was very good. Especially if you want to see some nice cinematics. Keep em up! :)
