I like to post the interesting games I play -even my defeats, in order for players to benefit from my bad play.
In this game, I came prepared for a Loki rush, so I played defensively in the HIGHLAND map.
When I realized that the rush wasn't coming, I went for the centre of the map, where there was a gap on the dividing river, and started building my FB and a dock to do some little fishing.
Thing is, that this guy Mythic_Daking, started messaging me in Greek (I'm Greek BTW) and telling me that it's a fishing map. This, astounded me and caused me to completely lose my focus on the game, as I started sending messages asking if he's Greek and all that.
Now, this guy is 1665 and I'm 1647, but I believe that I play better than intermediate and more like 1700+, but -like I said- I was surprised to play a fellow Greek for the first time, and my strategy got screwed.
It's OK, cause the game was unrated and for training purpouses.
Still, you can watch how one can win the fights and still lose the game, cause he did minimal raiding, and also see how a Loki doesn't do what he's expected and surprises strategically his opponent.
P.S. hey Mythic_DaKing, next time I meet you on the battlefield, I'm going to give you a good thrashing -the Greek way... Ha ha ha
