its alright but you could mix civilasation's collums and show to do it underwater as well,

Additional Comments:
also, compress the jpgs as said before 2 mb for a file of that size it TOO big!

I gave you an average grade, cause you really didn't say much more than the previous guides.
Also, you didn't use anything more than columns and just some mixed terrain and skeletons.
Sorry, but the previous guide I've read is better and more informative.

Additional Comments:
When you're building ruins, you must have an idea of what the building was, size, shape, height and function. Then, you have to determine what was the reason and method of it's destruction (fire, fighting, etc) and then, how long ago it was destroyed.
So, first, make the outline of the building in terms of what space it occupied.

Also, try to use apart from columns, various rocks of the appropriate colour (eg black for scorched from fire), sprites, etc.
Don't forget, that you have to make the debris according to the method of destruction, so an explosion would throw the debris outwards, a collapse would'nt scatter much debris, and a fire would burn all but the stones which would be mostly standing.
If the destruction was done long ago, you have to put some vegetation according to the terrain of the area, and perhaps lots of it making it overgrown...

In all goodwill

George

this information is useful, but it is not hard to figure out. however your method for giving the knowledge of how to make good ruins is effective

Additional Comments: if u show use how to do something more difficult, this would be much better
darklight1 very well done,
but it could have had some more steps like one for other proffessional ideas or looks.but overall, i liked it and it will help me in the future.
turbofrog Cleveeer!

o realy liked how you put tips and tricks, helped by saying where the embelishment was and hotkeys. Although the info itself isnt THAT useful, your method of presenting it is very good.
well done
i can tell you have put alot of effort into it and it is not just one of those cold, boring notepad ones!

If you know how to make cinematics, a tutorial in that area would be incredibly helpful as I've yet to see a cinematic tutorial I understand.
