Project Marsh Valley is my entry for the 2006 AoM Pretty Town Contest. In Project Marsh Valley, you take on the role of a young adventurer who has been called back to his hometown, Marsh Valley, to help the citizens find the missing town elder, Nottud.
- Impressive and realistic marsh with plenty of terrain mixing, elevation, and eye-candy
- Two norse villages
- Stunning 260x260 map with rivers, ponds, nature, and much more!
- A thrilling quest which acts as a tour around the entire map
- Day/Night Cycle
- Exciting music
- Opening and Closing cinematics
- Guest Stars
Project Marsh Valley features plenty of guest stars from Age of Mythology Heaven whom you can interact with. If you find a unit named after a forummer, there is a good chance that if you click on it, the unit will talk to you or maybe even reward you. There's also the Gaurdian_112 unit who will... well, I'll just leave that up to you to find out.
Glory of Sparta
I Love Bananas
Sandro the Wise (Wicke)
Now, the deal is, if you find a character named after you, it is your duty to give this scenario a 5.0 rating. Twisted Evil
An additional character list can be found in the Objective Spotlight.
I hoped Paperfriend would say something like:
"Use the question thread!"

Just out of curiosity, did anyone try out the teleporter wells? I added them the day before I sent in the map so I know that there are a few bugs with them that I didn't have time to fix. But, I'll get to work on that momentarily. The wells consist of over 20 triggers and are fairly complex.

Why did you picture me as a banana seller?
I usually eat them myself :p
Really nice work, though. Great map design all over.

somehow i always started with player 3 in the singleplayer, i had to go to the editor and playtest as player 1 for it to work
nice map, although at some times a few plants show up as a dark brown mass and at certain times of the day the contrast gets realy high
after some time, the fighting tribe soldiers die, i suggest setting their attack to 0
and i manegend to get stuck a few times by walking into corners and guardian blocking my way out
