"The only things I didn't really like were that it modified some of the options that you had before, and some of them don't work (black, for example). "
I believe you forgot to read the installation instruction, as it clearly stated that if users have existing custom waters, they should copy the codes over to prevent their waters from getting overwritten.
The black color does work. Sometimes when the color doesn't show up, it's an editor bug. You need to playtest the map, and then return to the editor, and the bug should be fixed.
Thank you for your comments and review :). |

Fountain... ? This file is for water colors... are you sure you're commenting on the right file? ;-).
By the way, please download the updated version 1.01. |

Well, if you had managed to bring this mod out, you would have beaten me to the checked terrain discovery! You can copy and paste the checked terrain and add it to your scenarios!
Anyway, very good mod![Edited on 11/04/06 @ 02:52 AM]

You know, the funny thing was that I was trying to fix some bugs with the color not showing up, and it turned out that the "Checker terrain" is actually an error where the game cannot read certain river data =).

I think it comes when it tried to paint a terrain on the land which it cannot. It cannot paint "water" on land. Try in the editor and you cannot.
I found it when I was random map scripting and it told it to place water but instead it placed the strange checked terrain.
Anyway, I have now modded it into a forest type where it will place the checked terrain but without the forest but in the same way as you have with the water. |
