Version: AoM
Take on the role of Odysseus and try and rescue Zues's Daughter from the Norse God Loki before it's too late.

jml It's quite a long, long, very long walk into this " one path " map. Not much to look at either, nor to take care of really...
Be aware your boat could launch a couple of triggers maybe too early by your schedule...
The balance is okay, I suppose... since I didn't loose one guy, all I care about! :-)
About some more variety with the terrain, snow, even trees and... lightings!
And maybe a story... Actually even this one could be fine, but much more detailled, trappy, surprising.
Make it shorter, faster. I believe it's your second map, so well, it's just gonna be incredible next time! It's quite okay already.
Good luck. And keep going.

Thanx JML for your helpful critism. I will take notes. I had a hard time with getting the "story line units" to do what I wanted. So, I shortened it quite a bit. If you play it on at least Med. Difficulty it makes it a bit more challenging. But I don't know what your talking about with the boat. The camera cut shows you where to go. I have had no experence with it starting my triggers out of order. Can you explain? I am learning more everyday and I will try and give it an upgrade later after I experiment on a few more. You mention traps. Did you find my relic trap? I thought it was really good.

Again Thanx and I have taken notes.

jml I would rather mail you some comments but since you're of the hiding kind... :-), here I go:
Yes it was a nice trick, only once Odysseus disappeared, and once... he didn't...
I played on hard, as most of the time to make the enemy smarter.
Once you get the boat, you can scout a large part of the map with... and fire some " too early " triggers. ( like those wolves? )
I didn't mean to be... mean, but i realized my comments could have sound a bit hard on you and I'm glad you took it as it was. Only constructives criticisms.
CSR_Mike Can someone tell me where do I put this once I download it and how to play it once its there.
SageCat Drag in to the scenario folder in you're AOM C-Drive folder.
pml_henry Playability: 4
I enjoyed the fighting scenes in the game. Although it could use one or two more confrontations, I enjoyed the game.

Balance: 3
I gave this a three because it was easy in normal mode. I thought playing it on hard was perfect.

Creativity: 4
I really enjoyed the laughter on the game and the ending was a little surprising, but good. It could use a little more than just trees along the path. Maybe some statues, ruins or something.

Map Design: 4
I liked the way the map was designed because you had to search the area in order to find the way you were supposed to go. It was not too big or too small.

Story/Instructions: 4
I clearly understood the instructions and I liked the story line. I think it could have been a little more detailed though.

Additional Comments:
I think this person will improve with time on their scenarios if they don't give up.

CoM_Dark_Rider Playability: 2
It was ok the first time but I wouldn't play it again any time soon. Also, I killed the Charon Ferry the first time, and the hades shade, and the old man, and some of my soldiers because they were mother nature. Make another player which is like neutral.

Balance: 2
As I said you could kill some units you were not supposed to. ALSO: My Charon Ferry died. Why was it game over? All my units got out of the charon ferry, so why did I die? Very odd.

Creativity: 4
Nice idea.

Map Design: 2
It was all snow and trees. Maybe some ruins, slightly different terain, different trees, rocks, snow effects?

Story/Instructions: 5
The story and instructions was superb. I like the way how the camera moved.

Additional Comments:
A few edits needed. If you took more time rather than rush you would have a better score.

Thank you for the rating Dark Rider. You were so not too harsh. I know it could have been better. But, just a little info, This was my second map I ever made. I'm just now working on my third. So, I didn't know a whole lot. I'm still new at this map/scenerio thing. From what I hear It's pretty good for a rookie. I will go back to this one soon and update it. At the time I made this map I didn't know how to set diplomacy, and I was mad that I couldn't get some of the NPC's not to attack or that you could attack them. Oh well, live and learn. I'll get better.
CoM_Dark_Rider If that is your second scenario then you are superb, and I can see you with a good map making future. Any trigger help you need just ask

Thanks Dark Rider. And yes Truly this is my second map ever. I have tried another map editor, which I don't know if I'M allowed to say it's name, and it did't turn out so good. I couldn't figure out half the stuff on it, and let's not talk about the triggers. Needless to say, AoM is sooooo much better. AoM makes it a lot simpler to use plus understand. There still is a lot I havn't got my 1 brain cell around, but soon oh so soon. I'v been working on my third map. It's going along the lines with Odysseus's travels, called The Minotaur King. Could be a Trilogy!
