Hey, I've check out your map and played a couple of times with some friends. And I have to say, for a non expansion map, this is pretty good (there is some better maps out there, but there are loads of maps that are worse). I liked the fact that you included a leveling system, but there are some things that I would suggest.
First off, I would suggest that you make the one level into 3 levels and use a different "set tech status" every time.
Secondly, try to keep it real. By that I mean try not to put lava in elevated places, it just seems weird and people will think that you are noob (sorry thats just what happens). instead, if you want to put lava in, make it in a ditch so it looks like a pit of lava. But if I were to change the lava, I'd just make it into trees, or cliffs.
Lastly, the cinematic, this is rather a very small thing that has a rather annoying impact. At the end of the cinematic make a "camera cut" trigger that cuts to the middle of the page at normal zoom. Trust me you'll make your players much happier. I actually liked your cinematic as a whole though, I thought it was straight to the point and told you everything that needed to be told.
All-in-all a good map, especially for a first map. Keep in mind what I said and soon you be making some pretty decent maps ~ Khan
