City Water Tiles Extra

Author File Description
File Details
Version: AoM: The Titans
Ok, you remember the old city tiles that were provided?
Well, this changes the water pool (the one with no edges at all) into a cross, and addes four T ones, one for each direction.

A small mod, I admit, but maybe someone can fins a use for it.

Installation details in the readme.

Found out that if you use this, and you try to play vanilla AOM (for whatever crazy reason...) the terrain graphics don't work. I haven't found a solution to this, except to remove these while you play vanilla. If you play vanilla.
MythicRuler I don't get what the point of this is...we can already do what you show in the picture with the other water tiles that come with aom...

The ones that come with AOM and TT don't allow for realistic looking branches - that is, one that splits into two or three other directions.
This adds T-junction like tiles, with the borders and replaces the tile which had no borders with a + junction.

Simple.... despite my lack of graphical skill.
Ben42 I would download it if it didnt replace the other tiles because I need those, but this would be very useful

Is there any way you could change it so it didn't replace the other tiles?

AFAIK, the only tile it actually replaces is the one with no edges at all.
It's been a long time since I looked at this last, but when I get the chance I'll see if I can make it so it replaces nothing, and keeps all the old ones.
Since it'll bring back in the no-edge watertile, I'll also see about adding tiles with edges only on certain sides, to make full use of it.
Just be a little patient, and I'll get to it when I can.
Xolotl Nova I found it very useful! Thanks a lot, the game's water tiles were CRYING OUT LOUDLY for something like this :D
