AoM: The Titans |
This is a new unit that can shoot a stinger as a ranged attack ,It will dive down on a special attack with a deadly sting delivering a neurotoxin that causes paralysis and death to human units as well as villagers
,the poison will not effect myth units but the stinger will still do damage.
I hope everyone enjoys it , I think it turned out very well .

Very nice. AoM REALLY needs more flying units, and this fits in nicely. Beautiful texture, and very well balanced.
Additional Comments:
I inserted this unit into the Egyptian civ, which works great for me. |

Great model, may I just suggest you use a transparent texture on the wings - IMHO that would make it awesome! |

Stephen Caines , That would be great , but I Dont know how ,I tryed before but had bad results on a water elemental ,Can you do it by just changing the color of what you want to be Transparent to true black or 0,0,0 ? or do you need to change it in Gmax as well , if so the secound part I dont know about.

Umm hey crazy dragon im new to this and well i cant make you wasp work as in i cant get it in game
I followed your instructions and when i compied it into the folder it said that there are two of these thingy and do u want to over ride it so i say no and compied them in individually but i cant find them in game and i read one of the post that said he put into the egyptians or sumthing sooo.........
in short IM CONFUSED :(

From what I have seen it's cool but I can't find how to install the protox.txt to the protox.xml without making it fail |

you wont see them in game only in the editer , when it asked you if you wanted to overwright the files you should say yes or it wont work.

you dont need to add the protox.txt file to your protox.xml unless your adding this mod to an existing one , you can just put the protox.xml file I included in your data folder and it should work .
If you are adding it to other mods
I should have left the word unit out at the bottom of the .txt file so before you copy it over delete the word unit from the last line ,then copy and past it just above unit in your protox.xml

if you see the word unit two times anywhere it will fail

be shure that the unit id numbers are are in order as well .if the last unit in your protox.xml is 804 then the wasp must be changed to 805 and the stinger to 806

Im having the same problem.
I cant figure out how to do the protox thing. I put the protox file in the C:\program files\Microsoft games\Age of Mythology, but when i go into the editor, it doesnt show up. All the other files are in the correct places I think, .ddt, .dcl, .brg, .xmb, .ddt, .brg2 all went into textures, im sure all the rest of the files are in the right place. are the above correctly placed?
Ill try emailing you as well.
