This map is named after my alias on my LAN games "Arbitraitors' Son" and shares a lot of resemblance to Ensemble Studio's map
"Alfheim". This is my personal favourite map and although I have had it for ages I have not really thought of releasing it. Normally
this map provides a little more food than normal and I think the off chance of an extra settlement - you may get a bad generate with
only your starting settlement with no others around you and average food. On the other hand you could get LOADS of food with an close settlements. This is more or less high food resource map.
This map is my first happy map, this map has the following;
~ Normal start.
~ Ethier, average food, more than average food or a LOT of food.
~ Evenly spread rescources (Gold and wood)
~ No water
~ Closer starting native settlements.
~ More settlements to per player - The more people your playing with the better chance you have to get settlements and more than 3 settlements.
Very balanced map! Tons of food everywere, and the gold and trees arent so close so you have to fight for them. Great job!
I played against Ai and i had the most food, lol. I just wish the cliffs were accesable to be able to build or put units on them. The native sttlements were also kinda really close to your own settlement though...

Thank you for your review. And you were lucky to get settlements, as most of the time it is a bit like suddern death (as you there is only your starting settlement and your enemies starting settlements). Because that most of time you don't get settlements I thought that if you do get lucky that you shouldn't have to look to far for them. Again thank you for the review ~ Khan

Ok the map is clearly much better than Alfheim. I count Alfheim as one of the worst maps imo but since this one adds the Alfheim style with some improvements, i think it is pretty good. Well there surely are too many deers around but I think the other resources were very well spread around the map and for the players. I liked the fact that the hills seemed a bit better than the ones in Alfheim.
