You've got some work to do.

Additional Comments:

Alright, lokiodin, where to start? First and foremost, you need to improve your efficiency a lot. If 'controlling the map' is what you want, you first need to be able to control your own forces. You have some sprawl issues here. When you got attacked, it was ridiculously hard to defend your base because it was spread out everywhere! You have to recognize that you're not playing easy anymore, and the computer WILL attack you. Don't build right up front if you don't have any units to defend what you're building. If you concentrated your buildings closer to you base, a usually harmless 3 anubites wouldn't have torn up your entire forward base. Plus, when you consolidate, it's a lot easier to get around your 'empire'.

I recommend you visit this:

It's 10 habits of great AoM players. Take a look at numbers 5 and 8. They're, KEEP BUSY and OFFENSE WINS THE GAME. You look kinda sleepy when you're playing and you're rarely, if ever on the offensive. Look at your recorded game and change the view to the computer. He's taking a walk in the park! You attacked him once with a couple axemen and the rest of the game he just strolls into your base and has fun with your villagers! You always want to be the one attacking and never the one who has to defend.

A couple more things: upgrade everything and utilize all your resources. Upgraded soldiers and economies do much better than standard ones. You rarely upgraded anything, so even though you were in the mythic age, your technology was really in the archaic age. Trust me, this makes a huge difference. Finally, try not to stockpile. Resources that are just sitting in your coffers are a waste. Use them to build soldiers and put pressure on the enemy or something. Just don't leave 4000 food sitting in your town center when it could be used to build a pretty good sized army. Your enemy doesn't give a damn how much you've got stockpiled!
