It was allright. Now as Nottud says most people know how to put a unit and tarrain and water and all that (if not they will prob learn for themselves). The stuff you did on triggers was good but almost* any person who plays AOM knows how to do that stuff before they Download anything.
My Opion was that it was a bit short and way i repeat** way to many spelling mistakes for only 2 pages. Some pictures would really help new people like say a picture of the editor and a circle around the trigger button. I think you have done well for a first time tho. But if this was a first thing i would suggest*** that you leave it until you can put a bit more info into it. All in All allright but can be improved alot
*ALMOST
** Just makin sure you got the message
***I suggest you do not have to, no having a go at you

This guide here is, indeed, very useful. Many newcomers to the editor might find what you've written useful. I see that some people already have used it with positive consequences :)
However, there are some problems with this guide, too. First of all, it's not very long, and most of what was written have been written in other guides before (only worded differently). And as such, many of the hints and tips are, well, redundant. Nothing you have typed down, can really help designers any further than the previous, more thoroughly written guides posted many places at AoMH. Also, it was a little messy at times. The layout could have been improved a lot, and it would have given a much better first impression of your guide. Pictures, for instance, help make the guide readable. ;)
Another thing I noticed, is that you had your facts wrong at times. When telling the reader about heroes, you wrote that any unit with Hero at the end is revivable. This is wrong; Hersir (Hero), Priest (Hero), Achilles (Hero), Ajax (Hero) and so on will all die. True, units like Agamemnon, Amanra and Reginleif all have the (Hero) suffix, and can be revived, but they're a minority. :) The revivable versions of Ajax, Chiron and Oddyseus all have the (SPC) suffix, and those with the (Hero) suffix cannot be revived.
Last, you could improve your spelling. I have no difficulties reading this, but proper grammar will enchance the quality of any piece of text. Use proper punctuation, use apostrophes and commass and check to see if your sentences are spelled correctly! Reviewers and other readers will consider spelling and other grammar as a major point when choosing the score.
On the other hand, though, you've done it in your personal style, friendly and informal. Your writing style is good for guides (Educational and such ;) ), and if perfectioned, it could lift the quality of any guide you write. And it is good that you have at least tried to make a helpful guide for editor newbies.
Additional Comments:
I'd like to see more guides by you. Just be sure to make them helpful and original, and to recheck your spelling. ;)
