AoM: The Titans |
This is a package of approximately forty new terrains for Age of Mythology: The Titans Expansion, ranging from cliff-types to road-types to ground-types to even a few lush-types. Terrain types (both existing and new) are separated into various biomes (or environments), so, for instance, Greek grass and Celtic grass are distinguishable in category. Important conversions include:
Greek "Grass" to "Chaparral (Biome)"
Egyptian "Sand" to "Desert (Biome)"
Norse "Snow" to "Taiga (Biome)"
In addition, the following new terrain categories represent the environments of their associated civilization:
"Meadow (Biome)", primary environment for the Celtic civilization
"Lambonated Desert (Mixed Biomes)", primary environment for the Babylonian civilization
"Sea Ice (Biome)", primary environment for the Inuit civilization
Installation instructions may be found in the "Readme" document, located in the "Documentation" folder. Also included are cliff-types associated with the various locales represented, as well as optional loading/splash screens for AoM:TT.
Note that this is a collection of terrains from a future modpack featuring the civilizations mentioned, but the downloader is free to include them in his or her scenarios/campaigns; just be sure to link here with a notice that this modpack is required.
Let me know if you find any errors, and definitely let me know your opinion on this package! |

Are these the ones you sent me or were they something else? |

Only some of them, actually. I included a lot of placeholders in yours so I could send you more terrains as they're done, as long as you wanted them. =D
EDIT: Haha, this will leave most clueless. I sent Nanodude the terrain package first as a birthday present.[Edited on 03/27/08 @ 01:49 AM]

No, new terrains do not work online only you can see it though and I think it causes OoS. Found Missing might correct me. |

Hey, thanks for all the kind comments. =D About the online thing: I've never played in a multiplayer game before, but I'm pretty sure any mod other than a texture-replacement will prevent you from accessing the official servers. I've heard hints that you can still play over LAN, though, but they might not be valid. |

I think that you can still play on LAN as long as ALL of the files other than textures match up. |
