OK, Thor vs Isis on Med, we both go FH and surprisingly my Thor gets there first.
Then, we have a fight for the sea which I eventually win with Burning Pitch and Heroic Fleet.
From then on, I'm facing mainly Thoth Eles and the damn birds with different units of mine. But Bragi ulfs are up to the job.
We both go Titans, and his comes out first, but with Rag and flaming weapons, the beast goes down fast.
Then, my Titan goes around taking out 2 of his TCs, hunted by a horde of priests and is killed.
I'm left with little gold, and have to buy from fish food to recover.
After that, we both go wonder-ing and his is finished first again by a few secs.
In the end, ulfsarks with support take down his wonder 50 secs before he wins.
It was a close game of non-experts and lasted long.
So if anyone isn't bored, can watch it.
I think that his mistake was that Eles (even Thoth) move slow and he should've mixed in some axemen to win.
Good to see you back on the scene, Anas. You always were a good Thor player and matches like these prove it. I'd play you, but I know you'd kick my arse :p
Almost immediately into the game the Eggy player gets the upper hand and pins you into your corner. You do amazingly well to fight back against these odds at a time when many lesser players would throw in the towel.
You got very lucky that the Eggy player seems to have stopped paying attention to fishing, which allowed you to turn the tables and dominate the sea; very important in this map. It's a mystery why he stopped caring: he pretty much held the entire sea at one point.
You also recovered very well from some pretty nasty tricks, like his nasty A/E placement that wiped out your entire gold farming.
I think at some point in the game it became pretty obvious neither side was going to win, you both would push back and forth occasionally but for the most part it entered a stalemate. It always kinda sucks to see a wonder win as it's a really cheap win but I guess it's the only way to stop a match between two very skilled players going on for silly hours. You got pretty lucky though, the Eggy wasn't far off winning before you destroyed his wonder. If he had upgraded to Masonry and such, I don't know if you would have taken it down in time :p
Overall a very good game with a lot of action and two pretty even players. On a side note it's an hour long, not an hour and a half.

A very good game. What was amazing was, at any point of time the Egyptian player had more resource. When 'Anastasoulis' had >100 gold, the opponent had
