I created color escape about a year ago, but never submitted it to AOMH.

Color Escape uses nottud's crazy terrains, to create an escape map. The map is not very impressive, and is not ment to be. Its more about the gameplay.

Color Escape plays a little diffirently then other escapes out there. First off there is a leveling system. Runners start with stone walls, sky passages, and watch towers. As they kill they level and recieve stronger defenses, such as better walls and towers, and mirror towers.

Hunters start with one type of unit, and recieve more as they kill. There units also get slightly stronger the more they fight.

One thing I have noticed in Color Escape is that random events can make or break the game, for either side. Hunters could get an earthquake, or runners could get lightning storm, its all random.

I hope you enjoy this scenario.


EDIT: The Hunters getting more time after killing Runners mechanism was not working properly so it has been fixed.

If its okay with one of the Official Reviewers I was wondering if any of them would like to give me a review on Bombrun, Colossus Race, and Color Escape.
OmegasRage Heh, I already released an escape like this from what I've heard, cept it had eyecandy ;). I dont have TT anymore so I can't check it out sry.

Playability: 4
Well it’s a good fair escape which is different every time you play it (in random events and such) which gives it a good replay value and lots of different systems and stuff making the game more enjoyable.

Balance: 5
Its very well balanced seeing as the hunters get better as well as the runners, unlike some escapes, and it continues that in the random events which have aspects which appeal to both hunters and runners. Another good point is that runners don't get the best towers or the best walls at the start which makes it fairer for the hunter, also another great thing is that if the hunters kill a player they then get more time.

Creativity: 4
Well there is a lot of different things that you don’t find in normal escapes such as your wacky cliff or whatever it is (done by nottud but none the less good) and there is the levelling system which is very nicely done for both teams.

Map Design: 2
To be honest there isn't much map design so not much to comment on but it is good to a certain extent for its job. I would have given you a 1 but there are a few things which are very good for escapees.

Story/Instructions: 5
Well in the cinematic at the start you pretty much covered it, runners have to use towers and walls not to die from the hunters and hunters need to kill them. You also informed them of your levelling system to kill and everything else.

Additional Comments:
A very good escape which is fair for both teams, so I suggest that if you like escapes, like me, then you should definatly play this one.
