And... you will get less attention from doing that. People need you to get their attention, not vice versa; it just doesn't come magically. However I hardly think that "Mr. El" needs the attention... ~ Khan[Edited on 09/18/08 @ 06:03 AM]

Before the review, I would like to say it was a good job, Kai! I loved how the scenario was planned out, use of triggers was great, and the way you can open chests was a good idea! Though the ending was too sudden, and the scenario was a bit short, it was done very well. There should have been some objectives or instructions on what to do, because I was a bit confused at first. Still, it was a great scen, so here is the review:
Playability: 4
The playability is amazing. The ability to go into houses was amazing, and how you were able to use potions to heal yourself was a cool idea. There were a few problems with playability, yet there were some bugs. When the master of the academy asks you to follow him, there is the possibilty that you move Vaan. Then, the trigger that allowsyou to go to the cave won't fire. I suggest either adding the User Controls [off] effect or converting Vaan to another team until he walks to the designated area. The same happens when the old man wants to sell the boat.
Balance: 3
Vaan apperently was too strong. He had the advantage of using potions to heal himself, having too many hitpoints and too much hand attack. I could kill most of the enemies that came. Also, the mission where you need to find the key to the crystal chest was impossible if you didn't just walk in random places (finding the lever was just too difficult. Walking in random places in search of a key was just a little vague.) Also, recieving five potions at the start affected balance. Still, balance was still good.
Creativity: 5
This was a very creative map. Being able to walk into buildings was a very creative thing and the opening of chests was another great idea. Though I do thnk that the RPG series Panos' Journey had very similar ideas. This map was worth a 5-star rating, I am proud to say ;).
Map Design: 4.5
Wow. The eycandy was very plentiful, and I really saw some great terrain mixing and use of limestone sprites. The use of merging buildings was also great, and the cave had an amazing use of stalagmites, rock sprites, terrain mixing and amazing design on the walls of the cave.
Story/Instructions: 3
There practically were no instructions whatsoever. My advice is to explain missions with objectives, or at least messages and/or flares to the location the player needs to go. The explanation of the Brave Eight brought somewhat of a story to the scenario and the instructions (well, the only intructions) started to appear after you go into the academy. I do not want to be rude. The scenario just needs some work in this department as all ;).
Additional Comments:
Kai, this was an awesome map. I loved everything about it. I had fun loking at the eyecandy, going into houses, interacting with people and such. I truly incourage you to continue making scenarios :D!
Best Regards,
MasterBeef
