Australia
Gameplay Type: Build and Destroy/Supremacy
The Overview
Australia - World Map is a basic 4 player world map of Australia. It is not limited to just Australia however and includes places like New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Antarctica.
Update:
Now works singleplayer. You will notice that the AI starts doing something around 35 seconds - this is why I have kept the 15 second counter. Also I would refrain from setting any player to an Atty civ.
Continental shelf added.
Various other map design additions (i.e. sand dunes etc).
Main Features
Made to a basic shell of Australia (obviously), it is a little bit small however at only 475x475.
Good Eye-candy (nothing over the top).
You choose where you start between:
- Lower-Western Australia
- East Australia
- Darwin
- Papua New Guinea
- Antarctica
- New Zealand
Each starting area has it's own little perk; that you will have to find out for yourself :D
Awesome balance, no one place is much better than the other. For example, New Zealand has limited building space, but has the entirety of island explored.
Unused starting areas are converted and used to hide extra goodies.
Little extras that I could bore you with :D
This has been Anti-Editified.

Thank you MasterBeef, but I think that Uluru is way too big (makes for good gameplay but :D). Also, are you Australian?
Thanks for the comments guys! ~ Steak |

Playability: 5
This game was addicting. There was so much to do, and so many options to choose from. I loved the way you didn't just include Australia, but New Zealand, Antarctica, and many other places. I kept playing, and playing, for hours nonstop. Nothing could have possibly brought this rating down, for this was a flawless aspect of the scenario. I have seen no other supremacy-based map with so much diversity in gameplay, or so much effort put into it. This is better than any other supremacy scenario I have ever played, and is one of my favourite scenarios I have downloaded on this website. There were no bugs or errors I found, so, I am proud to say, Playability is a five. ;)
Balance: 5
Some of the aspects of balance could be improved, but these are minorities and will not count against you. I saw all the advantages compensate for the lack of resources--if any. The western coast of Australia was easily walled up, yet it was small, and the resources there weren't very plentiful. New Zealand was small, yet it was filled with herds of goats. The balance was amazing, and is worth a five-point rating.
Creativity: 5
I hve not seen any supremacy with Austrailia in it (sadly) and this is just amazing in every way. I loved the creativity in map design, and how towards the centre, you put logs in a form reading "KaS", as a signature on the map. And, as I said in one of my previous posts, the map is almost perfect in geographical accuracy. Austrailia looks as it does in a map, in its form, and topography-wise. I love the use of elevation utilised in the map, and the terrain.
Map Design: 4
The map design could be improved. There was mix of terrain, rocks and sprites, grass, hand-placed trees, and realistic wildlife. In many areas, the eyecandy was plentiful, bushes, grass, rocks, trees, and more. The terrain was a lifelike as can be, the shapes, form, elevation, climate, and everything else could not have been more accurate. There were some sections, however, that lacked in terrain mixing and eyecandy. Parts of the desert should be improved, but most of the map was stunning.
Story/Instructions: 5
Instructions were clear, and just the right amount were added. It explains to move your old man to the obelisk with the name of the location you would like to start at, which was all that was needed. Barely any instructions were needed to start playing, and with the lack of instructions appropriate, you can tell the experienced players from the n00bs quickly. I would suggest having messages telling the ancient history of Austrailia throughout the game.
Additional Comments:
I am inspired by all of the maps you make, whether it be made by Khan or Steak. I truly reccommend the download of this file. :D
