We both played well I thought. I generally played more aggressively. I attacked him early with a pharoah, priest, and sphinx, then later with some spearmen. I spotted his FB with my obelesk and attacked it. I kept making spearmen, while he made turmas and cherios mostly. I think I generally lost less units in battles, thus my economy was better, thus made it to heroic with much resources to spare for migdols and chariot archers/siege.
He asked me my rr towards the end of the game to which I didn't really know what to say. I am what it says I am. We had an unrated rematch and he was concerned why he lost to me again me being 1500 aprox and him about 1580 (he brought me up to 1500, I brought him down to 1500).
OK so I didn't have criticism at first, but my criticism of his play for this game goes like this:
1) Save the katepeltes for when your eggy opponent gets to heroic. They cost more and have virtually no added benefit against infantry.
2) Your Turma need a meat shield when doing battle, and it cant be MUs against Eggy because of the pharoah and priests.
3) If you build massive amounts of Turma, then use them to raid, especially earlier in the game, and never use them for battle against spearmen unless they have a meat shield or out number them by 4:1 or more.
5) Use Kronos's timeshift power and deconstruct (if you can against Isis). You risked your Villy for a forward base when you could have timeshifted it.
