| | | | | started thinking of those who I thought could have betrayed me as I pulled the shard from my cheek. The wood had swollen tight in my flesh and and stretched my skin as I pulled until with a snap it let me go. I withstood the horrible pain by imagining that for each fragment I pulled from my face, I will be pulling the sword out of the flesh of another betrayer that I have tracked down. | - Introduction to Orion the Hunter | The Screenshot Story Thread (SST) is an open storytelling thread where forummers sign up to create an unscripted story one screenshot/story element at a time. Well, im surprised that this has not received much more attention and respect than it has gotten. The thread has been up in SD for a very long time, many people are part of it, and its just a really great thing. And so, I shall give you this review cookie, for you really deserve it, the work put into this is so apparent.
Story: 4.0
Well, it was pretty amazing, can't lie. I really liked the story, and it did form a story, to be sure. But I am afraid that I can not give you a perfect here, as it was confusing at times, which probably came from many people with different thought processes going on. They just took it their own way, and it kind of confused me at points, but I got it all in the end.
Screenshots: 5.0
Ok, this is basically most of the focus here. While you tell a good story, it was the screenshots that won me over. They kept me reading when I got bored, let me know what was happening in the story, and were a visual description for the things that were going on at the time. This was truly amazing, I just can not describe how awesome and cool the pictures were. There were many things that are not averagely done in AOM screenies, done in these, that just made them even better.
Additional Comments:
Great work here man, just really good job. The concept of this new creation using AoM is just amazing, and worked out really well here for you. The time and effort going into making this just proved for it to be this good. All the helpful people in the community that took their time into helping with this and contributing their ideas and artwork were extremely vital to this project, and did not disappoint. I thank all those who helped in the making of this as well.[Edited on 10/08/09 @ 08:52 PM]
