The mission is too destroy the great City Balna. You start with a large army. But you must play smart if you want to win this. Balna is great city and very beautiful. The allie of Balna is the great Pharao from Egypt. The army of the Pharao and the army of Balna wil attack you at your camp so be careful!
The scenario had a lot of troops at your command, so the scenario sort of lagged. It went all slow and it took a while until I was able to figure out what was going on. I noticed right off the spot what to do, but others might not. The soldiers started fighting right at the beginning so it took at least a little to get into center and get ahold of the battlefield. You could have used a few triggers making troops appear every few minutes, which would have made the playability better and a little more interesting. It would also make the lag go away.
Balance: 4
I had many many troops. It was rather easy, but you made the enemies upgraded to heavy, and other classes, making it not too easy, and not too hard. The troops were a little bothering, but you made some of them come near the fighting, so you can focus on the battle while your men come and you just work out a stragety. This is what saved Balance from a lower rating.
Creativity: 4
Very creative, actually. I have not seen many scenarios like this. "A grand city, a massive army, a war." The main problem that there was no real storyline or climax to the scenario. That brought the creativity lower. The city was very nicely made, so let us jump into the map design.
Map Design: 4
Beautifully done. I loved the city. It was very rich in detail and it was very nicely designed with buildings and just about every little thing it offered. The battlefield, was amazing. I love how you used the shallow river in front of the ruins, which were used as a cover for the soldiers, very, very nice. There was a lack of terrain mixing, though. Try using different terrains to enliven the enviornment and make the scene more pleasant. The city reminded me of Atlantis, I love how you used the statue of Poesidon as in the campaign. Nicely done, bud.
Story/Instructions: 1
Flaw. I saw no directions nor storyline. No objectives to direct me and no story to keep me entertained throughout the scenario. Make sure you include objectives and a storyline in a scenario. They help direct and entertain the player.
Additional Comments: Very nicely done. I liked this scenario a lot. I encourage you to make more scenarios such as this one. It was very great and with a few touch ups, a storyline, and some opening instructions, you can make the scenario much better. Add a cinematic to explain the story and keep the player up-to-date with things. Good job!
