I had fun playing this and that’s an important feature to have while playing a scenario. It was cool choosing the style of camera angle to start off the game and I liked the setup of the map. The only reason I didn’t give you a 5 was because the lack of music, although you did have a nice beginning music file and some good sound effects with the gates you didn’t have any music while you walked around and it gave the scenario an empty feeling.
The Balance was also good but there were some flaws. Some times I would have to wait in one spot to heal myself for long periods of time and that wasn’t that much fun. But you did have a nice idea of making different colored units that were stronger and weakere, that helped me plan out my strategy on beating them and I liked that alot.
I really liked your map layout and the camera angle was perfect. The part on the water was pretty cool. I had to go from elevated area to the next so that the krakens didn’t get me, Nice. I like the chests also. You could have added a couple more god powers like restoration or flaming weapons but the bolts were good to. Overall it was nice
Map Design: 3
I give thee a three because it was standard eye candy nothing brilliant but it still suited the map and game play quite nicely. I thought you could have done some more terrain mixing and you could have added a couple more embellishments also so that it looked more lush, and by that I mean realistic.
Im going to have to give you a 2 and the reason is simple, no story or instructions. The reason im not giving you a 1 is because the map was laid out in a path. So It wasn’t really hard to get lost. And the only story I saw was that idle god of Arkantos, which could have been an angel? Or a future view of yourself? I don’t know, Add a nice cinematic to explain.
Additional Comments: That was a very nice demo In my opinion, you just have to work on your story and eyecandy a bit and it would go from very nice to a great scenario. I also looked in your triggers and noticed that you are good in organizing them, that’s a good habit to have ;).Well I hope that you finish the real thing with a story line and instructions so that I can give a better review, good luck. :)
