You suddenly find yourself in Hell. Death has challenged you to a duel once its over you emerge to find a mysterious city under siege........
contains
-boss fight with Death
-journey through a sewer
-a city under siege
*two glitches I could not solve were when Death becomes a Heka Giant his shockwave can knock you to an area with spectators you will have to restart and the minatour under your controll blocks the path at one point I just put him behind the other soldiers
Playability: 3.5
I found this scenario quite fun. There were different things to do and it was quite fun fighting against the automatons. What ruined it for me though, was the complete lack of storyline and almost total lack of eyecandy. Both are essentialy needed for a good scenario. It wasn't bad, there weren't many bugs, apart from there being no lose conditions, and I had no idea to stand at the end of the sewer.
Balance: 3
Balance was quite good. About average. It had its flaws, such as the fight with death where I couldn't really alter the outcome. But overall it was quite good. The fight in Olympus was a bit annoying with those siege towers shooting me.
Creativity: 3
Creativity was alright. You basically found yourself in the underworld, killed death and then arrived in a sewer. I was a bit surprised by that, but the sewer rats were good, and the automatons attacking Olympus.
Map Design: 2
So we come to the map design. It was alright.. I mean there were a few pieces of eyecandy around, but overall it was pretty horrible. There wasn't any nature to speak of and it looked pretty bad. I suggest adding some more rocks to the sewers or something to make it more appealing
Story/Instructions: 2
There wasn't really much of a story... Who was Thantatos, how did he get there and other questions could be answered. The instructions were lacking with only one objective appearing some time through saying "Push through"or something along those lines. But I appreciated Olympus being attacked, you had put some thought into that.
Additional Comments:
If this was your first scenario I would like to congratulate you, it was quite good. Next time though, I'd like to see some cinematics, if you don't know what they are, please visit scenario design and discussion in forums and post your query there.
