Arkantos (Greek, Player 1), Amarna (Egyptian, Player 4) and Reginleif (Norse, Player 3) are working together to bring down Gargerensis, Kamos and Kemsyt (Greek, Player 2). The four players' bases are separated by cliffs running across opposite corners of the map, splitting it into four sections. The only access between the bases/sections is three narrow mountain passes, each one connecting an ally camp with the enemy camp. Player 1 has access only to wood, no food or gold (farms are blocked for Players 1 and 3). Likewise, Player 4 has only access to food and Player 3 has access only to gold. The three allies must work together closely, with tight cooperation, to defeat the enemy, while Player 2 can take advantage of his enemies' disadvantage, although he is on his own. Building of marketplaces, and consequently advancements to the Mythic Age as well, is prohibited for all but Player 2. The Egyptians are unable to create Rocs. All four players must be human controlled, even Player 2 - there are no AI's.
