AoM: The Titans |
Hello again another scenario of my upcomming campaign. This scenario takes place before the other three scenarios i have released so the story might be a bit complicated, but well just have a look at it and tell me what you think.
Your mission is to escort an Athenian Ambassador to Pella, the capital of the Macedonian Kingdom. Of course this wont be as easy as it sounds as you will face many perils before and after you reach your destination.
I don't think there are any bugs on this scenario
but if you find any let me know so i can fix it.
Thanks |

Playability: 5
Let me just say wow first off. That was one great scenario, it's in the top I've played. When I killed the bandit leader, I thought, well that was a really good scenario, and then suddenly, I had to defeat the Celts as well. I like scenarios like that, that tie up any loose ends. THat was really nice Chimichaga, nice work. One little bug I discovered, is when you're making the reinforcements you're man can get stuck between the barracks, wall and tower so he can't get out. But you still get a five from me, I'd give you a six if I could.
Balance: 4
Balance was great, just a few issues I had, I was playing on moderate and when I had to defend the town from bandits, I thought "this is way too easy" then I realized I could change the difficulty so I was about to do that when I thought that I would lose the start part if I did. If you didn't understandthat, I'll just say that the balance was great, but some parts were too hard and some too easy.
Creativity: 5
Must be one of the most creative I've ever played, it has to be near the top, the bandits, the celts, everyone fit together to make it a perfect scenario. The starting cinematic was really great as well, it seemed very real, and believeable. I think that that is the exact conversation they would have if they were in the snow. The different enemies were well done, I could imagine the bandits and celts having those. The star of vergina was a good part to the story, and I could imagine the King sending someone on a mission like that.
Map Design: 5
This was the first time I've seen you do building mixing and town eyecandy and I thought it was fantastic. Great map design, it was set out well, the different terrains were great and mixed well together. The embellishments were nice and all in all it was great mixing, probably the best I've seen in a snow map. I really like the map way better than any of your others (no offense to them), because it was such great design, it was set out well and it had nice all round eyecandy.
Story/Instructions: 5
Story and instructions were fantastic, I didn't really read the instructions much, but when I did they were great. The story was really great. Each part of it was put together well in context with the story, the ambassador running away, help arriving, going to recieve the star, I thought all of these parts were well done. Great story, it was really well presented and was really good to follow.

So you're not releasing anymore for 3 weeks. :( Good luck with your exams, hopefully you're as good at them as you are at designing, and I just realized that was my 20th review. :) |

You made this in a day and a half? That is amazing. I loved the plot twists and the way the whole scenario worked well. My only complaint is the defending the village part it was far too easy. |

I thought this scenario was alright, I'd say 2/4. The terrain looked very natural and believable and the building mixing was good, but I didn't think that the plot was very strong or that the objectives were very interesting. |

I'm sorry but 2.4/4 is not a rating. If you want to review feel free to just read the review guideline first |

Nah, I'd give this a 3.46/6. It was good, but I liked using decimals too much. |
