Goumis, my opponent, was over thirty rate higher than me. I decided that I could win, but my start was horrible. I could find food nowhere, and I had a ONE MINUTE LATE ADVANCE, all due to food problems. Then, he did a villager rush on me, and right after I advanced, I lost my town center. At this point, he kept telling me to resign, but I didn't, for I wanted a real game. I created a base west of where he destroyed mine, and I started to send small armies to weaken him. Later, I constructed two town centers to hopefully recover my economy, and he also created a second town center. When I failed on destroying one of his bases, I decided to win by population, or at least by town centers. So I was attempting to do a 4-2 so I would overpower his population, and it was a success. My armies kept his economy at a low rate, so I took third age for destroyers while his economy was too poor to advance. From then on, I kept on destroying one of his town centers, while he kept on rebuilding it. Then, I decided to alternate with my attacks so I attack one of his bases, then the other, hoping he had less defense in one. I succeeded in destroying a town center, but he kept on rebuilding them. Then, I waited for full population and constantly attacked one of his bases, which is where I was about to win. Watch this recorded game for the action!
P.S: I should have won about 30 rate, but I won zero! Can anyone please tell me why I never win rating on Tundra and Highland?
