Mostly and easily playable game, although starting with the recourses and buildings provided lets down this area. It causes it to become less fun and not as fast paced, as in the instructions it says along the lines of: Greek War: Defend the city against the enemies. One whom reads this may think that you have an entire city at your disposal, and you have to defend it from attacking forces, but this is not the case for the game.
You start with only a handful of buildings, and three or so builders, and they start with an average sized base and boats already attacking. This would be a good concept for things to already be attacking the city, if you had defenses such as towers etc.
Although it is a good idea and concept, it isn't the first of it's kind. Base defense games have been around for a while. And while thats okay when the games are made to full capacity, its not as exciting when you do not own the base and the enemy has one at their disposal, already attacking your allies and you.
Map Design: 4
A nice map design overall, although the trees guarding the north west, north and north east parts of the map could be made more brush-like, not squares of vegetation.
Nothing entirely terrible with the instructions, nothing entirely brilliant with the instructions. The fact that the base wasn't actually yours could have been explained more in the instructions.
An average game overall, which could be made a great game with a little bit of work.
