Tamerisk Rouge

Author File Description
File Details
# of Players: 4
Version: AoM
This is my first submitted scenario, so don't think too much of it.

This is basically a supremacy land map for 4 players. It has abundant food of different shapes and sizes, and isolated forests with gold and settlements. It's main landmark, the Tamerisk tree in the center, holds the largest of the animals and 3 extra town centers. Any questions or comments about this map are unlikely, but greatly appreciated. This is only for AOM. I don't have AOT, sorry :P

Ausquatch What do you know...I finally found you. I have not seen you on AoM in some time, I also have AoMTT. I will soon get back my AoM though.

Anyways, this scenario may be designed for AoM, but people with AoMTT can use it too. I don't know about online, but I do know we can use it in the editor and play it. I have already done so.

When I opened it up I checked the map out...First thing I noticed was the symmetry of the map. It was almost all the same, every corner and such (I like it like that :D) was balanced and equal, nothing is unfair about the scenario. Another thing I noticed...(WHICH I DID NOT LIKE) was the tree placement...The trees were in small bunches of about 10-15 trees. If those were intended on being a forest, then I want to know what you have been smoking. As I am sure most everybody knows, twenty villagers could eat those small bunches of trees in a few minutes. The food dispersion is a little off too...You have just about every animal on that map. From Walrus' to Giraffe. Those animals are also spread quite a ways apart, and most are guarded by 2-3 Hyenas, some by Wolves, some by Bears. Cows are spread across the map, so are Goats, but the Cows don't come in pairs.

Moving on, there is enough Settlements per player, although each person usually only get two or three extra, depending on the map. Gold distribution is looking better than the Food and Wood.

Now, I have a question.
What is the point of that tree? It sits within a pond, with three perch. To reach it, you must somehow get by the trees (via cutting or god power). Sitting in the middle though, how can you reach? Is the water shallow? Can villagers walk through it to reach the tree? I understand you wanted this to be similar to a Supremacy, so I don't think anyone would have time to cut down that tree without getting raped.

I know this is your first scenario, and I have not made/submitted any myself, so I don't have much space to speak. But someone has to give you insults. Luckily, I get that job >:).
