A ladder game between me, G_ForcZ and Uber_Testament. The map was Watering Hole, a paradise for Set, but strangely there were only two herds of hippo/lions and two elephants. Enough for me, though. Now I am not the best Set player and nor is Testament the best Thor player.
He got his priorities right and that is another good example that this game shows. I am a rook with eggy(1650's) and he's an inter(1710's). But a gg all the same. Watch the game and hopefully, you'll be able to combat all those Set wagoners out there.
Like me he he he he......
You were very aggressive but he had a good defense going..i just didn't understand why you didn't go for his longhouses more when he retreated...he dind't have any renforcements at all at one time..but you retreated and gave him time to build more troops...and i think the turning point is when he went Heroic and upgraded all his troops.

The game description says:
"A gg showing how Thor can beat Set on his supreme map, Watering Hole, by having a good initiative and an uber economy ."
Erm, a GOOD game? Are you kidding me? The player of Set couldn't build an economy worth a camel turd, and you call this a good game?
I don't know which is worse: watching heavy calvary go up against a basic slinger, OR having to hear the produce unit button announcing that this player can't produce anymore spears, because he's too stupid to figure out he's out of food and wood.
Rather than produce more vills he just waits until he can crank out a vanilla non-upgraded army.
Oh, and I also love to see him send TWO slingers over to harrass his dwarves on gold...likes that's gonna make an impact.
Do us a favor and DON'T show us these terrible examples of stupidity, for the love of Zeus.
