Updated again. Version 4

I think I started this map a few months ago, basically trying out an idea for a castle. It was an eye candy test. Took me a few hours. The other day I was looking through my maps to find one I'd just downloaded, and found this map. I opened it to see what it was, and decided that I needed to finish the map just for posterity.
I've been working on it ever since. I've added armies of Myth units that attack the Castle, and as the game goes on these armies will get larger, as the game goes on, you get more heroes, etc. etc.


All three of the Greek Special units (myrmidon, gastraphetes, and Hetairoi).
You start out in the Mythic age
There are the four difficulty settings,
Only the one initial cinematic,
A respawning relic, take it and another will appear in it's place,
Some interesting eyecandy,
A fight built to suit the defensive player who doesn't mind an adrenaline rush from fighting fifty myth units at a time,
All the good campaign heroes (Kemsyt, Gargarensis, and Kamos aren't available).
Eventually you'll get to fight a Titan (Never played it that far; that's 8000 seconds in).
Two SoO, and twelve priests,
Sexy Assistant is available (If you have the Cheat Code)
An end, based on how many units killed, more for higher difficulty,

Things that have been fixed:
The heroes are a little more reliable in appearing now I think.
The ending works now. 1500 kills for easy, 3000 kills for medium 4500 for hard, and 6000 for Titan. Expect Titan to take a few hours.

Another secret Objective,
Heracles added to the heroes that teleport in (Don't know how I managed to forget him the first time)

The Shades now do more damage to Myth units. But beware, the humans that die for you to get shades may well destroy your walls.

I figured out why it wasn't ending, but I'm working on the heroes now. I've added deer here and there, and I changed the name of Bellerophon.
I haven't updated the map yet, however. I'll try to fix the hero problem first.

Does that mean that you've tried the other version? What does it need to make it better? I can increase the number of units the armies grow by every 6:20 minutes.
mgs15 you sure you updated it right? i don't know if i did something wrong... i tried to DL the file again, but it seems nothing has changed. i can not see all of the things you said you've added, such as the huntable deers. i also played it for at least 2 hrs, and no heracles was present. when i checked the properties of the file, it was modified July 15, 2010. i downloaded it several times to make sure that i didn't do anything wrong, but still i get the same old file. by the way i erased the old file i have downloaded.

anyways, i wish you all the luck to greatly improve this great scn.

i'll be wating for more updates...

btw i tested the multiplayer version of this. comments regarding that version is posted on its page.

I uploaded it again, just to be sure. I was pretty sure I saved and uploaded the new version. I sure to all deities hope I did. That was a lot of trial and error.

Anyway, give it a shot.

The cheat code is 'Sexy Assistant'.
mgs15 sad to say, it still isn't updated when i tried to DL it. i tried it 3 times, with the old file deleted, still no update. what could possibly be wrong?...

I am such a dummy some days. That's as bad as Yeebs forgetting to upload the game file along with the sound files.

I updated the scenario file, but not the zipped folder I've been uploading. It still had the antiquated version in it.
I'm uploading the new one now. Hope it works out for you. :)
mgs15 Yay! At last you have uploaded the file correctly. I knew it even I have not yet tried it because I saw the huntables. Now I have to try it!!!

Thanks! Really, that's awesome. I really appreciate all the feed back! You've just given me the highest rating I've ever gotten!

If I get as much attention as from this one, I might make another similar map. I can use Egyptians as the main player, and so on. Add more myth units, the works.

I might even be able to divide the city across a river, with enemies attacking from both sides, and aquatic monsters attacking from the river.

Sound good?
I'll use the same mechanics, same kind of hero arrival and so on... but I may have to limit the number of priests or get rid of them entirely. The player will benefit, however, from the pharaoh. Which god though?
