I think I started this map a few months ago, basically trying out an idea for a castle. It was an eye candy test. Took me a few hours. The other day I was looking through my maps to find one I'd just downloaded, and found this map. I opened it to see what it was, and decided that I needed to finish the map just for posterity.
I've been working on it ever since. I've added armies of Myth units that attack the Castle, and as the game goes on these armies will get larger, as the game goes on, you get more heroes, etc. etc.

Featuring:

All three of the Greek Special units (myrmidon, gastraphetes, and Hetairoi).
You start out in the Mythic age
There are the four difficulty settings,
Only the one initial cinematic,
A respawning relic, take it and another will appear in it's place,
Some interesting eyecandy,
A fight built to suit the defensive player who doesn't mind an adrenaline rush from fighting fifty myth units at a time,
All the good campaign heroes (Kemsyt, Gargarensis, and Kamos aren't available).
Eventually you'll get to fight a Titan (Never played it that far; that's 8000 seconds in).
Two SoO, and twelve priests,
Sexy Assistant is available (If you have the Cheat Code)
An end, based on how many units killed, more for higher difficulty,

Things that have been fixed:
The heroes are a little more reliable in appearing now I think.
The ending works now. 1500 kills for easy, 3000 kills for medium 4500 for hard, and 6000 for Titan. Expect Titan to take a few hours.

Heracles added to the heroes that teleport in (Don't know how I managed to forget him the first time)

The Shades now do more damage to Myth units. But beware, the humans that die for you to get shades may well destroy your walls.

Thanks for the high marks, but you should extend your review. There aren't enough lines in there.

According to the review guidelines you need three lines in each category before it becomes a compliant review. If it doesn't comply it gets deleted.
Bastiii I found a glitch, after loading a game I could't get all 3 greek special units! Please fix, for this is a game that shall take more than one sitting to complete. Also you can only train the Cavelry special unit out of the fortresses, could you at least make it Hades's special unit the gastraphones (or however its spelt). Becides theise brilliant map.
Smityu_Yorantzet If you want to save the map and maintain Hetairoi and Myrmidons, all you have to do is save it with the units on autoqueue at the appropriate building; you won't be able to stop and restart training afterwards reloading, but it will keep training them as long as it's on auto.

Great map, by the way; it's inspired me to learn how to properly scen design and make similar maps!

Thanks for the compliments, however, it's been so long since I've done anything with this map I'll have to look into it to figure out what's going on. I thought for sure that all three special units were available through their respective buildings. Academy, archery range, and while I tried to get the Hetairoi out of the stable, I could only get them out of the Fortress.

I'll see about looking into it.

Thanks for all the high marks and downloads guys and gals! We here at Astrological Design really appreciate it!
DalTXColtsFan Was there supposed to be an ending? I got "You are victorious" when I killed 1500 monsters but the game just kept continuing and I had to hit Resign to continue.

And you say that we're supposed to get all of the Greek special units - I could only get the cavalry out of the fortress. I saw that question asked earlier but wasn't sure what the answer was.

I didn't see the respawning relic or the hidden objective.

Love the scenario - sorry to post only the negatives, it's fun!
DalTXColtsFan I found the other two special units - obviously I don't play Greek much :).

ColtsFan, I had that problem a lot in these games, I never figured out why, but it’s been way too long since I worked on them to be able to fix them now. My expertise has rusted away.
I apologize for the annoyance.
