Updated again. Version 4
I think I started this map a few months ago, basically trying out an idea for a castle. It was an eye candy test. Took me a few hours. The other day I was looking through my maps to find one I'd just downloaded, and found this map. I opened it to see what it was, and decided that I needed to finish the map just for posterity.
I've been working on it ever since. I've added armies of Myth units that attack the Castle, and as the game goes on these armies will get larger, as the game goes on, you get more heroes, etc. etc.
Featuring:
All three of the Greek Special units (myrmidon, gastraphetes, and Hetairoi).
You start out in the Mythic age
There are the four difficulty settings,
Only the one initial cinematic,
A respawning relic, take it and another will appear in it's place,
Some interesting eyecandy,
A fight built to suit the defensive player who doesn't mind an adrenaline rush from fighting fifty myth units at a time,
All the good campaign heroes (Kemsyt, Gargarensis, and Kamos aren't available).
Eventually you'll get to fight a Titan (Never played it that far; that's 8000 seconds in).
Two SoO, and twelve priests,
Sexy Assistant is available (If you have the Cheat Code)
An end, based on how many units killed, more for higher difficulty,
Things that have been fixed:
The heroes are a little more reliable in appearing now I think.
The ending works now. 1500 kills for easy, 3000 kills for medium 4500 for hard, and 6000 for Titan. Expect Titan to take a few hours.

Heracles added to the heroes that teleport in (Don't know how I managed to forget him the first time)

The Shades now do more damage to Myth units. But beware, the humans that die for you to get shades may well destroy your walls.

When I was playing this it was fun but there wasn't much to die besides killing the enemy and getting food,gold,wood I wish there was more to do on this map.
Balance: 4
The enemy monsters get stronger and more hp but it very easy to survive there attacks,the towers can damage the monsters a lot but I think the towers are a little to powerful the
monsters can't even destroy the towers.
Creativity: 5
This map was a very creative and the castle looks cool but maybe it might look better with like fortified walls maybe the castle should be bigger?
Map Design: 5
The map terrain is acceptable but the terrain is the same over the land but you should have made different types of Atmosphere on the land.
Story/Instructions: 5
The Instructions were easy to follow.
Additional Comments:
This map is fun and cool and the castle looks good but,I think it should include more enemy monsters! like the wadjet,Mummy,All the other myth units. I recommend everyone should download this and play it.[Edited on 07/31/10 @ 08:26 PM]

I really appreciate the scenario's concept, which is defending a castle from myth units. I now give it a 5 since it can now be finished. Also, what pleased me while playing the game is the score update and the heroes' arrival is just right on time. I also like this because all three Greek special untis are included in this game. The game requires the player's skills, strategy, and familiarity with AOM.
Balance: 5
The myth units are REALLY powerful and plenty that they can outpower heroes. However, the cheat code can balance the game, or even without the cheat code, a good player's strategy can even the odds. Also, the 4 difficulty setting adjusts the game reasonably to suit the player's skills and strategy. Overall, the balance of the game is just what I'm looking for--- challenging, but is possible to finish.
Creativity: 5
Well, I could say that the creator is creative, from the map's design to the scenario's features and concept, which is withstanding numerous attacks of myth units. I also like it when the enemy Titan spawns somewhere on the middle of the map. Also the heroes' names are suitable for the game.
Map Design: 5
The castle is well designed, and there are now the huntables, which adds design to the map. The map is just properly designed. Not too plain and no exaggeration on the map.
Story/Instructions: 5
The instructions are now written better. At the beginning of the game, there is the indication of how many units the player has to kill to win. The hints could also be useful to help the player achieve victory. The in game instruction and initial cinematic also clearly explain how the game will be and what the player should expect.
Additional Comments:
This scenario is what I'm really looking for, just fairly balanced. I also appreciate that you made necessary changes to this scenario and would like to give you credit for making one and updating it to a perfect one!
Suggestions:
-About the objective of the game, the player should be defeated once the starting TC and 3 fortresses have been destroyed. This should increase the game's challenge. I got victorious even the main castle has been destroyed by transferring to the two available TC's, then continue to eliminate enemies.
-You could have included other myth units, such as the chimera, wadjet, minotaur and the heka. If you plan to add these units, you must of course lessen the number of units that add to an attacking army to maintain balance of the game's difficulty.
Anyways, I REALLY enjoyed the updated version of this scenario. Let me know if you will still continue to update this. Achieving victory on this scenario makes me feel fulfilled as a gamer, and such good feed back should make you a fulfilled map designer!

Its the best game ive seen here the only thing being when i reload it wont let me build the murilmos (Zeus unit) or the Posidens unit forgot name it might just be something bugged in AoM or it might be scnario but i still give it a 5.
Balance: 5
Its very balanced at the fact u get beast slayer, shades and alot of heros.
Creativity: 5
I love love love the eyecandy Its the best thing i love how u put colums into the walls.
Map Design: 5
I just have 1 problem even though its a 5 We need maybe 1 or two more gold mines into you'r town.
Story/Instructions: 5
Very easy to play even for noobs Great and easy game on easy very hard on titan
