Gameplay video -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jzvc52DT7Hw
Features:
- Play entirely within cinematic mode
- Control your spaceship with the arrow keys
- Fire your missile with the space key
- Four difficulty levels
- Floaty, spinny rocks in space!
Playability: 4
The only reason I put 4 for playability is because when you want to move your ship it is short choppy movements.
Balance: 5
This mini-game is very well balanced.
Creativity: 5
This is one of the most creative games I have ever downloaded.
Map Design: 5
Great map design
Story/Instructions: 5
Not much instructions but you didn't need that much.
Additional Comments:
Keep making maps like this. You should also consider makin like a Pinball map or something.

This is great. I'd rate it a 5, but I'm horrible at ratings... Oh well...

:)
perpetual, I had a go at making a 'block breaker' minigame a while back (the ones where you move the platform to bounce the ball up and break bricks). It was alright, used crates for the blocks, a shrunken roc with an implode sphere attached to it and a unit for the moving platform at the bottom.
But all sorts of problems with it :p. Maybe another one for you ;p?

Thanks for the review, Marauder, shame it was removed. Oh, well.
The short choppy movement of the ship comes from using teleport rather than move. A necessary evil unfortunately for some other things to work properly.
Yeeb, I had thought about making a block breaker game or a pong clone after my current projects, but I recently lost a lot of my work after a hard drive crash so I might as well make them next. I'd be interested in seeing what you had done for your block breaker game.
