| Forward Base |
+--------------+
>Don't you think its annoying that when you want to do a forward base you have to build alot of stuff like Towers, Walls for defense, plus the buildings for the troops?
>Well, if you do, then this mod is for you, this is an upgrade of the civilization's fortress(Fortress for Greeks, Palace for Atlanteans, ...), it has some increased HP and attack, but it takes twice as long to build as the fortress.
>Now you're asking, where this building actually helps the me building a forward base? Well, this building can train every unit that the civilization has available at the moment, including Human Soldiers, Myth Units, Heroes and Villagers and it also works as a dropsite for Food/Wood/Gold.
This building can be built by Villager Greek/Villager Egyptian/Villager Atlantean Hero and Hersir
Again, like my previous mod, I haven't included a xpacklanguage.dll, the reason is that I myself prefer to have modded units on the top of the list for easy access, however, when I release my future Civilization pack, it will include a xpacklanguage for it and all my previous mods I've released.

its a new building, it'll have a different appearance depending on your civilization, kinda like the Titans, if you're greek it'll be a fortress, if you're egyptian, it'll be a migdol, if you're norse, it'll be a hill fort, if you're an atlantean, it'll be a palace. |

Hi im kind of a nooby modder and im having trouble with what should be a simple procedure. i am for some reason unable to change change units' weapons and heads (give a hoplite a greek sword and a toxotes head). i have done everything "riders big guide to anim editing 2004" said to do. i extracted the anim.bar into text files, opened them up with notepad and edited stuff, and then resaved the new, edited text files back into the games anim file. but while i am able to edit heroglows and other sfx, the weapon and head never change. even when i download mods from the internet, the sfx and edited texture and models work, but the weapons and head dont change. am i doing something wrong? |

It has the *** before its name in the screenshots, is that in the real one too? |

yeah, I don't like to make xpacklanguages for 2 reasons:
First is that it because it makes modded units much easier to find as they are in the top of the item list in the editor
Second, making a xpacklanguage for each mod is unreasonable because xpacklanguages always need to be replaced, and if you know how to merge them into a single file, you can easily add the text to the one you currently have |
