Magic Rugs is the soon-to-be award winning sequel of Magic Mats for Age of Kings (originally created by Cheezy Monkey). It's 4 player, with all of the old fun gameplay (put a unit on a mat to spawn) with the added fun of things like tornado god powers and talking monkeys!
MR also features 2 ways to upgrade: either fighting for favor or controlling the central vault. A good player will do both ;)
Instructions are all given in the cinematic, and are more detailed in the objectives. Just make sure that as a host either everyone is norse or no one is norse.
Magic Rugs is still slightly under construction, PLEASE REPORT ANY BUGS YOU FIND TO ME!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! My email is pigcheese@hotmail.com, and my ESO name is LKS_Cheesy.
Playability: 4
This map is very fun and engaging, you get a lot of units so it's really action packed. It has a nice easy lay out and smooth game play because of its map. The only problem is that the units you get all counter everyone else's units making upgrades seem less important and making it harder to gain a real advantage over your enemies.
Balance: 5
Every player has an equal base, equal units, counters to the units ETC... The balance is perfect, almost too perfect =).
Creativity: 3
Well, the starting cut scene boosted this mark up a little bit but, the reason I gave a 3 in this category was because the concept of a blood isn't really new or refreshing and as far as this map goes there is nothing out of the ordinary about it.
Map Design: 5
The map is perfect, and really is the best thing about this whole blood! The map makes it worth playing and makes it shine and stand out from others.
Story/Instructions: 4
The starting cut scene was a smart way to implement the instructions. The map is simple and easy enough to follow that you don't need instructions but it did help I guess. The reason it lost a mark was because you didn't give any helpful hints or tips for the players.
Additional Comments:
This map is 100% worth the download! Well that is, if you like balanced bloods that give you lots of units battling it out in a beautiful map.

Thanks for the review Mojo, the scen I'm working on will probably get a 6 on creativity, even if everything else sucks. 2 words: Monkey Kingdom ;)
