Just finished playing a 2v2 against ZoD_pSyCHo and somehow he must have droptricked, because we won the game and ended up losing the points! This is very frustrating, what is the best way to deal with people that cheat like this? I mention pSyCHo specifically because we got the Not Responding screen and everyone clicked wait, however it timed out and kiced him out of the game. After my friend and I finished off his teammate we found out that the game is recorded as a loss for us. Thanks for your input!

Yep I don't think you should mention individual player names here. But anyway ... if I felt any sort of cheat or hack had been used against me I would be VERY annoyed. People who cheat are just scum. But I don't think hacking is a huge problem in AoM currently, so we can relax for now at least. AoM has not been totally ruined by hacks like some other games have.

Thanks for the info, guess I shouldn't have mentioned any names, but it really ticked me off. Not the first time that this has happened to me.

Wah! You lost a few points! Woe and sorrow!!!
Best way to deal with cheaters is to get over it.
Basically, it's, "My opponent get points even though he resigned, but what do I care?"

You're right, I gave in in a weak moment and decided to whine...maybe this can be one of the posts in Glock_Glock's new Whiner's thread...

let me get this straight...droptickers are the ones who just disconnects and ended up getting the points? i had this happen to me before where the person just dropped the game said they resigned and lost..and out of 5 times only 2 times had my points go down. So i don't think it's a cheat..it maybe a small bug in the rating system...but i haven't played alot of games..so i dunno.

LicensedDevil you have made an extremely good point there. Especially if you think how small the chance is of you being cheated more than once in a row.
