I'm an Odin player and I strongly disagree with the thought of Odin being overpowered. RC are very strong, agreed. But a good poseidon player will beat a good odin player hands down. How you ask? For cost, hips can beat rc. You know your disadvantage is when you're both at pop, so avoid it. Force him to fight by hitting his longhouses. If he starts making ulf, back off, bring some archers in. You can't let him get the initiative, you gotta force him to fight on your terms -- terms where neither of you ever get to full pop.
Then, in Heroic yes, huskarls and jarls are strong, but you're missing something. Same principle as before, raid him and force confrontations before he can get enough jarls or huskarls to really hurt you.
As for vs. egypt, Odin really doesn't stand a great chance. Everything he puts out can get countered, and on top of that, axemen counter most of Odins units. Actually, Odin vs Egypt is unbalanced to Egypt's favor. TA are useless vs Egypt because not only do they get beaten by slingers who have a huge bonus against them, but they get beat up by axemen as well.
As for civ rankings as of right now from me:
1)Set
2)Isis
3)Poseidon
4)Thor
5)Odin
6)Zeus
7)Ra
8)Loki
9)Hades
But the last 4 can really mix up a lot due to being about equal.
