I think the single biggest hurdle to beat eggies is getting past the mass of buildings and around arrow fire to ge at them. Later on, their are a lot of different ways to go about it, but in classical, their is only one very cost ineffective way.
This really annoys me, and I don't think it is fair, as no amount of micro is going to stop that completly free tower from killing you. The houses take viliger time, but have to be built anyway, so no harm to the eggy either.
In the sake of making less booming games, I really think that egyptian houses and dropsites need to have shorter lifespans under attack. Be it maybe that only ulfsarks and spearmen get multipliers against these buildings, or that these buildings have less hack armor or hitpoints, it needs to change.
Free towers are needed altogether, I admit, but the effectiveness of free towers with free houses surrounding it is just too much.
