Will gamespot keep up their tradition of delaying their showcases; or does this one stand a chance of a release on the first of May?

True, they were a bit prompter this time.
What new god powers will Poseidon have and who would his minor gods be? I think Thetis, Queen of the Sea and Amphrite.
He'll probably be able to conjure up Tidal Waves and storms.
I think Triton, his son should be an available monster, to impale ships on his great Trident and drag ships under.

The Game has to have a map of Atlantis, which sinks.

Why is it that Gamespot seem to know more than Ensemble about Age of Mythology? Surely the Ensemble members of this forum can enlighten us of Age of Mythology's secrets; i.e the minor deities and their abilities for each God. All the God powers. All the buildings. All the units. Are they just 'watching' us all ramble on with questions, 'begging letters' and requests and laughing their heads off at us so to speak because they already know everything about it. If they do know all this information why don't they just tell us, so we can all stop wasting our time. Them we could do something more benefitial like argue for and against the inclusion of certain units, like the Stone Giant, debate over what will be in the add-on, perhaps play testing the Age of Mythology Beta, and help Ensemble make Age of Mythology as brillant as it can be. If they took the time now to look at what we want now and let us assist then it will help them in the long run. When AOM is finally released in September, Ensemble will be wishing it got a slightly higher percentage. Think of the PC magazine reviewers with their pens at the ready to mark the game.
Ensemble, you have never thus far produced a game worthy of 100% but this time go for, put every thing in, double the number of deities, update the graphics engine, take all our ideas on board; even if you have to charge double, or even triple for it people will still buy it because it will be the Perfect game because it is what they want it to be.

Because that enables them giving Gamespot (and other media) exclusive info, i.e. info that isn't out yet.

Does it matter about Gamespot, does anyone care about Gamespot, does Ensemble care about Gamespot? No, of course they don't! Who is going to buy this game, the Public, or a select few editors at gamespot? We, the public, will be putting in the greater sum into Ensemble wallet, more than Gamespot can dream of. After the release of AOM in September, there will probably be alot of unhappy people out there who did'nt get it because they thought the Frost Giant art was better before (Personally I disagree, but there are many people who think otherwise), or it did'nt feature their favourite minor gods, something had been taken from the game which they particullarly liked (i.e. the Stone Giant, which most of us want, a fine example), only a single campaign, the list is endless. Ensemble should sit up, put a downloadable beta out for play testing now, take in all the criticsm and tell us all they know, not Gamespot.

That's still 5 days late, obviously you don't care when it's released.
