I thought I heard ages ago that some units could jump over walls. Did they remove that feature (I hope so) or is it still in?

From what I understand Wall and towers are far less than they were in AOK(not that they were a prob if you knew how to deal with them). So I dont think youll be throwing wall up for much real protection except maybe in the earlyer ages there mostly from what ive heard just for waring that an attack is coming and to hold off an ememy for a bref time. I think it will be funny to play turtlers on this when they see there 3 layer wall and 7 or 8 towers go down in a matter of seconds.

thanks for the feedback--
while i am by no means a 'turtler' by any stretch of the imagination (mythological or otherwise), i have always felt that the inclusion of walls in an rts allows for a more broad sweeping range of games. there presence gives the player an added option that may allow them to better establish their strategy in accordance with the civ they get, the terrain they are given, and the strategy employed by their opponent. frankly, it was my one of my biggest complaints about W3. i look forward to raising the walls against thee all!

they let your army get into the best position for your army to be in which is quite important
