LOL
You guys are fighting over the term "rush".
Brief History of the "Rush":
There is no hard definition for the term rush A rush has been redefined over the years (origianlly a "rush" consisted of a barracks first build in War3 that could not be stopped with a normal town center build and was considered unfair and was truly a "rush") game developers have been very good about getting rid of unstoppable early "rushes" in newer rts games. As a result in newer rts games it has evolved to mean an early attack (ie a zergling rush or a flush in AOK) some even use the term for any attack that occurs earlier then normal (guardian muta rush in sc or an knight rush in aok).
There are several rushes in AOM:
Hersir rush in archaic age in which you flood your opponent with Hersirs during the first few minutes of the game (primary goal is to disrupt food production (and to mess with thier head)
Fast classic rush with any civ in which you classic in less then 430 and attack with a handful of units around 530 before they have an army (primary purpose is to disrupt gold)
Im sure a Ragnarok rush is possible at about the 20 minute mark with 100 or so Heroes.
Rushing is a part of every RTS from the rax first rush in war2 to the villie wars of aoe and the Hersir rush of AOM. It is the nature of the game. The higher the level that you play at the earlier the attacking starts (which means a rush for one person may very well be a normal build for another)
