I believe you're jumping to conclusions here.
1. You are also shown a Russian (Slav) town using Nordic buildings in the opening, doesn't have to mean the Slavs are in the game, much less that there are any campaign missions in Russia .2. Native American religions are not completely dead, so an x-pack featuring the Great Spirit and friends would be as controversial as one with God and an army of Angels.
3. Just that the Vikings and Colombus reached America, and ES decided to show their ships (it looks great), doesn't have to mean that it'll be in the game or an x-pack (re-read point 1). 4. Europeans landing in the Americas, the explotation of American land, and the holocaust and discrimination of the True Americans, are sadly, not mythology, but real events. This game is about mythologic tales, not about actual historical events. You want a history game with the war on the invading Europeans, go buy Age of Empires II and play the Aztecs. They'll even let you win the war and save the Aztec Empire.

i can never understand why everyone gets so riled about double posting--it only shows excitement about our game; and considering how poorly the game is doing saleswise, we need it.
No bad thoughs, just to inform you. The problem with double-posting is that part it's space-consuming, part it's an evil circle. First of all, evidently 2 posts take up more than one. But also, let's say you find something new on something, such as stuff on the X-pack. Now, even if you post in a dead thread, that thread will "bump up", that is, go to the top of the forum. It will also appear as being unread; both which causes people to read your post. If you create a new thread, however, at least two things happen:
1. People have to keep checking two threads for new posts on the same discussion, and second,
2. If someone else comes up with something new on the topic, he might fear that if he posts it in only one of the discussions, it might not be read because people might be reading the other thread. Thus, he might choose to post yet another thread on the same subject, just to be sure everyone will hear him.I understand that you're new to the Web and all, but if you surf trough a couple of message boards, you'll find that preventation of double-posting is part of "good forum habits".
IMO, however, this is more like a new discussion so I guess this thread is justified. Except I think everyone who saw this opening cut noticed those ships . Those who didn't skip it, that is
