I have one friend in a neighboring city that has always been my primary gaming nemesis. We played Lords of the Realm 2, AOE, Starcraft, AOE2 and soon AOM together. Last night, we played the final championship "King of AOK" match-up.
The bastardio did his usual "sneak onto enemy island - build towers - a stable and 2-4 knights and then slowly castle push me to death!" That's the third game in a row we pulled Archapelago (sp?) in full random.
It struck home the realization of how much I hated Age of Buildings. I happily uninstalled it and removed my maybe-possibly- burnt CD out of my computer (yes, I have paid for AOM) and said goodbye forever. No going back now.
And you know what, I won't miss it. Except for maybe all of the fun times had while winning & losing in it.
Not to be confused with blue_myriddn (But my family thinks I'm great)

That's insane... I refuse to uninstall AoE2/TC from my computer, it will be on it forever and I will teach it to my grandchildren on their 900000ghz machines! But really, I'm keeping my AoE2 CD's forever, it's a classic and I'm sure I'll go back to it in 20 years just to realize how good it was, and how crappy the graphics were compared to in 50 years.

dang, i wonder what games will be like in 50 years....
The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference.
