So, it seems AoM's speed is very closely connected to its framerate. Since the framerate of the game is uncapped, and my PC is pretty good, in-game cutscenes tend to go faster than they should, which makes everything go out of sync. Does anyone know a way to cap the framerate at 60fps?

Right now the game goes between 300 and 565 FPS.

If you have the Extended Edition try enabling/disabling VSync in the options

Thanks a lot! However, as stated in the title, I'm playing the Gold Edition.

My mistake. If your graphics card comes with software see if there's an option there to cap the framerate at a certain number, ie. 60.
