Okay. I play norse. What can I do when my opponent spam counter infantry?
Nothing? Exactly ... nothing.
This is retarded.

the word mass apparently has different meanings
other than chariots and lategame ellies
it's stupid to 'mass' one type of unit like camels
even as good as hips are, if you mass them then you will get ****ed up the
ass hole by my bragi ulfs at 12 mins
i think some people are interpreting mass as predominately
i wouldn't mass camels cuz chariot raiding is just too effective
and rax units are too cheap and easy to spam like an mf'er
another reason why including camels in the ca+axemen+camel
combo is a norse killer/raper
vs. odin, stick some spears and axes and you're golden

because bragi ulfs + huskarls is a very very strong counter for heroic pos.
i've almost never seen a pos player that gets out hypaspists earlier than like....17 or 18 minutes, or maybe even before 20 mins.
so its just horseees and tox. huskarls do okay vs. cavalry cuz they have a pretty high hack armor too :P
so ya. then throw in a few jarls for their nemeon lions they always get and you're doin' alright.

martel man, i don't care if you play tt, aom, or the freakin scenarios
your cav will get raped by bragi ulfs. massing hips is not a good idea.
having a LOT of hips is cool and works great but massing all hips is not smart.
besides, i'd rather make ulfs and husks and force you to waste a bunch of wood making rax for hypaspists, THEN upgrading them so they don't suck.
thats a big hassle and use of resources only because i used 200 food and 20 favor on my ulfsarks
btw viper, that may sound oh so heroic of you to make rax 'as soon as you see a hill fort go up'
but just because i got my fort up doesn't mean im making husks...
jarls are in there too big guy, along with the longhouse units from norse
